Prime Minister Gillard’s excoriation down under inspired me to drudge up this gem from President Clinton…
Speechless
Australia’s prime minister Julia Gillard is one badass motherfucker. In an impassioned 15-minute smackdown in front of the house of Representatives, the country’s first female leader gave a scathing speech calling out opposition leader Tony Abbott’s extremely misogynistic comments, actions, views…

You heard it on Tumblr first!!
Today we’re introducing an exciting new project and wanted Tumblr to see it before anyone else. Usher (you know, musician, dancer, father, and new host onThe Voice) recorded a video with us that helped register thousands of people to vote in the last few days. The video was so successful that we asked Usher if he would design a t-shirt as well. He came up with a really cool shirt design that will inspire more people to register to vote, and we’re making it available to you guys first.
These limited-time exclusive t-shirts will go fast so we want to make sure you have a chance to get one!
If you’re not an Usher fan, don’t worry, we’ve got more tees to come. Make sure you add your name to make sure you get updates when new tees are available.
Oh and the best part? Money from each shirt will help us register at least another voter in time for this year’s election.
With college enrollment growing, student debt has stretched to a record number of U.S. households – nearly 1 in 5 – with the biggest burdens falling on the young and poor.
We need to make education more affordable, and make sure that student loans don’t become lifelong burdens. Do you have any ideas on how we can do so?
